Leipzig Book Fair 2014 - Sunday - Manba Outfit

Hello everybody ^^

Sunday of bookfair in Leipzig 2014 was the last day of our trip.
I wanted to wear a full Manba coord that day.
It's not a real cosplay but I guess Manba nearly counts as cosplay because I'd never wear it on a daily basis XD

I've done a Manba coord and make-up once before but this time I changed the technique for the dark skintone.
This time it's dark make-up mixed with bronzer and brown bodypainting colour. I applied it on face, décoletté, arms and belly/back. I left the white parts blank (almost) and applied a white make-up pen and white theater make-up.
I used many layers of lashes and upper lashes as bottom ones ^^

I bet you can remember the wig I made!
Luckily it survived the transport !!!!

I really liked the coord/wig/make-up combination! I think it matches well.
I tried not to get too much influenced by typical oldschool manba concerning the outfit. I mean the hawaii shirt is defenitely influenced by typical "Alba Rosa" style but the skirt, belt, shoes, hair and stuff is more influenced by current kuro gyaru (black diamond and stuff...)
But accessories and make-up are typical oldschool manba!

...OMG it was so stormy outside o.O never felt such wind... I'm proud of my wig XD it outdared the storm. I just had to fixe it a little bit when we arrived at the fair.

We left our luggage at Leipzig central station!
We arrived around midday at the fair and the halls were definitely not so much crowded as the day before. 

Soon we met the other girls we wanted to meet ^^
Actually we planned to be some more Manbas ... but Tine was the only remaining XD 
The other girls did not feel comfortable with that style so they modified theit looks and did some other great coords.

That day we even found time to walk through the hall of the MCC (mega comic con).

Together with Michi and Senja I broke the way through the masses of people and animé-merchandise ^^°....

But well you know I'm into STAR WARS instead XD Look what Michi and I bought:

Why didn't I buy this Maika/Inkay or Meowth-ballon plush toys????.... well, too expansive Q____Q But I'm such a Team Rocket fan.... It maddens me now......!!!

Leipzig Book Fair 2014 - Saturday (STAR WARS Cosplay Padmé Amidala)

Hello everybody ^^

I attended the bookfair in Leipzig last weekend. 
I wore my newest costume on Saturday:

Well actually I did not wear the full cosplay when I left our hotel ^^°

The bookfair (and the MCC (Mega Comic Con)) was so much crowded... it gets worse every year....

waaa~ so many people o.O°....TOO many people -.-°

My friend Kiki was not wearing a cosplay but Michi supported me with her STAR WARS Cosplay.

Duchess Satine Kryze of Mandalore!

 Her character is "just" a STAR WARS - The Clone Wars character and so most of the people did not recognize her....
But she is perfect for Satine!

On our way through the masses of people we met Free as Obi-Wan Kenobi *o*
Just so perfect because Satine is Obi-Wans love of his youth <3

So we did some small shootings together or alone and met many people we know ^^

The packing gown of Padmé as a Senator in Episode II has always been my favourite dress in the whole STAR WARS universe. 
I like the silhouette, the way the skirt swings when she walks, the different materials and the colour palette and of course the hair style!
So it's my dream cosplay you could say!!!! I wanted to do this for so long Q___Q and now my dream came true <3 I'm really happy <3

In the evening the halls emptied.
But we did not manage to go to the comic hall the whole day because it was so damn crowded.
