Connichi 2013 - Sunday

Hello everybody^^
I know I'm late.... but I want to finish my posts about the Connichi.

Sunday started very nice ^o^ My friend Kura and I went to the swimming pool and the whirlpool of our hotel  *o*

I never had such a convenient hotel for a convention before ^^. Kind of pure luxury for me~ haha

But I think this was the best and most relaxing part of the day.
 Like always the convention-sunday was a little stressful. Check-out of the hotel on time, store luggage away, forget something at the luggage, go back to pick the forgotten stuff, not many time because the train back goes early in the evening....and so on...

I was cosplaying together with Sato "Katekyo Hitman Reborn".
Me as Haru Miura (Haru Haru interview version) and Sato as Kyoko Sasagawa (school unifrom).

no... I'm not a singer XD but it looks like ~ haha

Sato looks so super cute *o* ... actually she's kind of a tomboy usually! But she did so well in this girly cosplay <3

We decided to search for other Reborn cosplayers and ask for photos. So I did my "job" and interviewed them on the photos XD "hahi"

It was really funny~ haha

Sadly there were not sooo  many other Reborn cosplayers. The  series was really popular around 5 years ago. But today there aren't many cosplayers anymore. 
(It's just thousands of  Shingeki no Kyojin cosplayers nowadays  ^^°.....)
 
 I had to catch my train back to Berlin at 6pm... and the Connichi was over Q____Q
But the next manga/anime convention is already in 4 days XD
I will attend the MMC in Berlin!

Connichi 2013 - Saturday

Hello everybody^^

This is my post about the Connichi Saturday.
We started with a gorgeous breakfast in our hotel but the weather was just..... horrible Q_____Q.
Very cold and very rainy.....

But I dressed up nevertheless for my cosplay as Misato Katsuragi from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
I was just a single Cosplayer this day. I had no group or partner.

When we arrived at the convention everything was different than all the years before. The meadow was nearly empty, everybody was clustering under the trees or went indoors. The atmosphere was a little sad.
It was raining like hell!!! I met some people I know and friends but I had no chance to make photos in the rain.

When we met Hani, Mao, Kukki and Senja, I got the chance to go inside. (Actually I had no ticket...^^°) My other friends went out to have a coffee in the city.

Actually I'm not a fan of staying inside at a convention but it was quite nice to meet all the people^^

Senja und Sui

 Hani, Mao and Bathsi were part of a showgroup. So we waited a little and then watched the performance of their showgroup (Kira Kira Hikaru).

Time flew by and after the show it was not rainy anymore ^o^
So I met Sato and we shooted each other ^^

Misato drinks a looot of canned beer ~ so we had the idea so buy some for the shooting ~ haha

During the shooting (nearly) all my friends went for a meal... meeeeh but I had not enough photos and did not want to go for a meal with my cosplay....
So I stayed at the convention a little longer and met some other friends!

I spent some time with Kashi and Linda and their super cool Detective Conan group

In the evening I went back to the hotel to change my clothes. Afterwards I went back to the Connichi in civvies.

Back at the convention I met Kiki and the others. They just came back from eating. So I spend the rest of the day with them.

So the Connichi Saturday was pretty mediocre. Started unmotivated and ended super nice^^
But I think the bad weather did not mar my mood ^^

Connichi 2013 - Friday

Hello everybody ^^

Last weekend was a big anime/manga convention in Germany/Kassel. The Connichi!
Of course I was at the convention like all the years before^^. It was my 6th Connichi.... can't believe it.... time is running Q___Q.

I started very early in the morning and went to Kassel via train alone.
This was my casual outfit. (Later on I was wearing a cosplay of course XP)

When I arrived in Kassel around midday I first went to the hotel where Kiki, Kura and I had our room.
But our room was not fully cleand so I had to wait some minutes before check in^^°

My girls would come in the evening so I prepared for convention Friday alone and dressed up in my cosplay to meet some other friends on the convention <3

So around 2pm I met my friends Ray, Sato and Michi in front of the convention hall.
Michi was cosplaying with me.
We were both cosplaying random Pokémon characters.

me and Sato <3 (she was cosplaying a random character from Sket Dance)

so we were all...eeeeh...random XD
But I was surprised how many people recognized and remembered my character o.O.. ok. nobody knew the name anymore but everybody still remebered her!!!

So we started shooting! Of course we all needed good photos of our cosplays (as always^^)

It was so fun!!!! I still love Pokémon. And I got to know nearly all of my friends through Pokémon-Cosplay years ago. My cosplay-"career" started with Pokémon. So it was kind of back to the roots!

it got cold in the evening... so I had to wear a jacket underneath...

In the late evening Kura arrived and we fetched Kiki at the train station.
It was a really nice Connichi Friday! Funny cosplay, funny people, great con-feeling!!!

"And I even don't have a brother..." was the insider of the day (neeeee Sato, Michi, Ray? XD)
