Fall/Winter trends through the eyes of "Popteen" and "Ranzuki" (scans)

Hello everybody ^^

It's been a while since I made scans lately... but I think scans aren't very intersting for the most of you since there aren't any real Gyaru magazines left. I most often buy Japanese Non-Gyaru magazines lately.

But for Fall/Winter trends a look into some magazines is worth it.
But these trends are just general trends that you can adopt easily to every style's wardrobe! You can also borrow these trends for your gal-wardrobe!

First I will show you some scans of Ranzuki November Issue!
Afterwards I will list the trends.
And then many Popteen November scans will follow!

some halloween fashion ^^°
As you can see Ranzuki has completely passed away from being gyaru at all. It's very simpistic and basic!

The following list of trends is also based on what you can see in Popteen!

Colours:
- navy, dark blue
- red, dark red, bordeaux
-dark green
-grey
- some winter pastels (light blue...)

Patterns/fabric:
-Every kind of check/plaid (Tartan, Glencheck...and so on.) mostly in the trend colours!
- military/camouflage
-plushy fur fabric

Style/Clothes/Cut:
-midi-lenght skirts (flared & tight)
-tight denim skirts with complete button facing and suspenders
- high-necked tops (turtleneck, high-neck)
-checked shirts (wrapped around the hip)
-huge oversized coats
- barrets (for sweet styles)
- knit caps (for casual, cool styles)
-floppy hats (for elegant style)
- plushy pompom earrings
-chunky heels
- flats
-socks
...

You will notice that Popteen is much more vibrant and open to different styles than Ranzuki is! There is still a little bit of gyaru feeling left around some models!

I really enjoyed this Popteen issue! So much fashion! So many different styles! And I really like the range of Pop-models right now! Every girl is different and presents a different kind of style! I'm realy satisfied after so many of the "old" Pop-models have left! Let's hope my recent favourites will stay!
And let's hope Popteen survives!

bye bye~ chu <3

Schade, dass es vom Make-up nicht mehr so stark ist, sondern eher den K-POP Models ähnelt oder Ulzzang Mädels -.-
Aber die Mode mit den geschwungenen A-Line Röcken ist toll ^^

it's so sad what has happened to Popteen.... There are still some outfits I really like but it is just an ordinary magazine now. I have a lot of scans of older Popteen issues on my laptop and I really miss their old style

Well but you have to compare it to other Japanese magazines or ordinary western/eurpean fashion! Popteen is still very special and very colourfull and cute! You still feel the gyaru history!
But I feel the same! Issues 3-5 years ago wee sooooo different and gyaru Q_____Q
thanks for your comment <3

@Catherine
I can live with the style change of Ranzuki. It's still a nice magazine. Very close to what Japanese fashion is really like I think.. but hella boring! Especially the layout! That's right!
I only miss Okarie! For me most models are replaceable! I really hope Popteen keeps the colourfull, vibrant look... I don't like the clear and tidy layout of the most magazines ....
thank you fo your comment ^^

Ich habe damals ja mit Seventeen angefangen und später dann mit Jelly - aber beide sind für mich leider nicht mehr so interessant. Letztere hat immer wieder ein paar gute Ausgaben, aber vieles ist schon zu sehr verwestlicht. Ich suche dann oft vergeblich nach diesem besonderen Etwas und das war an sich in den ersten Ausgaben, die ich damals kaufte, noch vorhanden. ^^;
So... und dann werde ich mich jetzt mal durch die Scans hier hangeln.
Danke dir! <3
